My Review:
Wake is a thrilling and terrifying novel. Amanda Hocking takes the new popular creature, sirens and, puts her own chilling twist on it. This book is beautifully written, with another twist that will blow you away.
Those three creepy girls, Penn, Thea, and Lexi are more than just tourist at Capri. They are interested in Gemma for some reason. What do they want from her? Boys keep disappearing. What is really doing on at Capri will give chills.
This book was written in third person. Usually I don't like books written in third person but, it was perfect for this book. Wake will changed my mind on third person. Third person in this book was beautiful and emotion filled.
Amanda Hocking did a wonderful job writing this book. This book takes to the world that is in the book, and it is like your there watching it all go down. There was a mix of contemporary and paranormal/fantasy, that really topped off the book. This book was completely incredible. With amazing third person, and a creepy twist on sirens.
