Book Tour: Crown Phoenix Series

CROWN OF PHOENIX TOUR

Review of Night Watchman Express:

Buy: Amazon / B&N
Summary from Goodreads:
An underground factory, a terrifying laboratory, and the eerie whistle of the Night Watchman Express…

Miriam has only her guardians' son for company, and she and Simon dislike each other from the start. But they must find a way to trust each other, or they will end up on the sinister Night Watchman Express.

Full of danger, suspense, betrayal, and a hint of romance, this steampunk adventure is for readers of all ages.

My review:

Night Watchman Express was very interesting, with highly entertaining characters. I enjoy this book, but overall I discovered that the steampunk genre is just not for me. The characters are the best part of the book. This book is very different, and unique.

The characters were very defined, and I really loved that. They were so entertaining. Miriam is my favorite character, she is really stubborn and she made my laugh a lot. I also really loved Mana. These are characters that you don't want to miss.

The book was split into two parts. Part two begins around the middle of the book. This book was slow for me until part two (or around the middle however you want to look at it). The book got way better the second part of the book. This book is really different so it's hard to explain much about it. It is really unique, and it is worth your time to try it.

This is a great start to an adventures series. I can't wait to read more of Miriam, Mana, and all of the other characters. Alison DeLuca did an incredible job writing this highly unique book.

I enjoy this book. I adored the characters. It's slow at first but it gets better. If you like streampunk I recommend you try this book.
