My Thoughts:
The Goddess Test is a highly engrossing and entertaining. I loved the genre and storyline. I enjoyed the characters. I was completely blown away by the writing. Every thing about this book was intriguing to me.
I haven't read much YA mythology before this book, and I really enjoyed it. I like the Persephone myth, and I loved the use of it in this book. I loved the mythology, the bit of romance, and the bit of mystery.
I loved Kate. She was so fun to read about. I'm still unsure about how I feel about Henry/Hades. He would be okay for some pages, and then he would be different and kind of a jerk for the other pages. I liked the background characters in the beginning of the book, but I didn't like that they lied to Kate. I don't want to be spoilery, so I'm not going to say anything else about that matter.
I loved Aimee Carter's writing. I loved how everything was worded. I also loved the way Aimee told the story. It is not only a great storyline, but it also has great writing to back it up. The storyline was so fun to read. I loved what went on, and also how Kate handled everything that happened.
I loved this book. The Goddess Test is a great YA mythology, that is bewitching and fun to read. I loved the genre, the storyline, the characters, and the writing. I recommend this book.
My Rating:
