And it doesn't take Adelaide long to figure out that sometimes...That one true love never dies.

My review:

Insanity is a beautiful tragic love story. Throw in a bit of mystery and you get this beautifully written novel.

This book alternate chapter from after the main character Adelaide was sent to an asylum, and before she was sent to the asylum. Adelaide has no idea why she was sent to the asylum. After chapters are about her struggle to survive, and escape from the asylum with her boyfriend Damien that followed her there. In the before chapters are about Adelaide's and Damien's struggle with their relationship, parents, and life. They plan to runaway together to be together, but then she wakes up in the asylum.

Adelaide mom left her when she was ten, leaving Adelaide with her abusive dad. She is strong through it all, from abusive dad, to the asylum. The instant I started reading the book I felt for her. Damien is a the boy next door, with rich parents. He would do anything for Adelaide even if it  means defy his mother, runaway with her, and losing his family just to be with her. This heart breaking couple makes this story even more heart wrenching.

This book was very well written. It draws you in and traps you in the story. It makes you feel like your there seeing it all go on. It's not like any other book I have ever read. It has unpredictable twist and turns through out the book.

I'm insane for Insanity, This book is one of the best I have read in months. I can't wait for the next in the series.
